Daily Funds is a personal budgeting app designed to help you track your money. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
By default, all financial data — budgets, accounts, categories, transactions, and statistics — is stored only on your device and never transmitted to external servers. No account or sign-in is required to use the core features of the App.
If you choose to enable the Sync feature (to share a budget with family or to sync across devices), your data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore). This includes budget names, accounts, categories, and transactions you add while sync is enabled.

Daily Funds offers optional paid features processed by Apple App Store and managed via RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives anonymized purchase data (subscription status, device identifier) to manage entitlements. No financial data from your budgets is shared with RevenueCat.

If you use the receipt scanning or voice input features, your image or voice audio is sent to a Google Cloud Function for processing. The data is used only to extract transaction details and is not stored or used for any other purpose. These features require an active internet connection and are entirely optional.
The App uses Firebase Analytics to collect anonymized usage statistics (screen views, feature usage frequency). No personally identifiable information or financial data is included in these events. This helps us improve the App.
If the App crashes, an anonymized crash report may be sent via Firebase Crashlytics. These reports contain technical information (device model, iOS version, stack trace) but no financial data.
Daily Funds is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Local data remains on your device until you delete the App. Cloud sync data is retained until you request deletion. To delete your cloud data, contact us at alex.d.code@icloud.com and we will remove it within 30 days.
When this policy changes, we update the "Last updated" date. Significant changes will be communicated via an in-app notice.
