Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 11, 2026

Ministry Time is a personal service diary app. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles, how it is stored, and your rights as a user. We believe privacy is a fundamental right — and this app was built around that principle from day one.

The short version: Your diary data (time entries, notes, goals) stays entirely on your device and is never transmitted to us. The only external service used is Firebase (Google), and only for the optional Feature Requests screen — not for core app functionality.

1. Information We Collect

Ministry Time does not collect any personal information. The app does not require you to create an account or provide any identifying details.

All data you enter — including time entries, notes, Bible study contacts, goals, and settings — is stored exclusively on your local device using the device's built-in storage. This data is never transmitted to us or any third party.

2. Data Storage

Your data is stored locally on your device using standard platform storage (SQLite / shared preferences). On iOS, data may be included in your iCloud backup if you have iCloud Backup enabled in your device settings — this is controlled entirely by you and Apple, not by Ministry Time.

On Android, data may be included in Google Drive backup if you have enabled automatic backup in your device settings. Again, this is managed by Google's backup service, not by us.

3. Permissions Used

No other device permissions (camera, microphone, location, contacts, etc.) are requested or used.

4. Feature Requests (Optional)

The app includes an optional Feature Requests section where you can view, vote on, and submit ideas for future improvements. This feature uses third-party services provided by Google:

If you choose to submit a feature request, you may optionally provide an email address so we can follow up. This email is stored in Firestore and is never shared with third parties or used for marketing.

If you do not use the Feature Requests section, none of the above applies — Firebase is only initialized when you open that screen.

Firebase is operated by Google LLC. For details on how Google handles data, see the Firebase Privacy and Security page and Google Privacy Policy.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. The only external service used is Firebase (Google), solely for the optional Feature Requests feature described above. No analytics, ad networks, or tracking tools are integrated.

6. Data Export

Ministry Time allows you to export your entries as a report file (CSV or similar format). When you use this feature, the exported file is created on your device and shared only through the standard system sharing sheet — you choose where it goes. We never receive a copy.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Since all diary data is stored locally on your device, you are in full control of its retention. You can delete individual entries within the app at any time.

To delete all local data, uninstall the app. If you have iCloud or Google Drive backup enabled, you may also need to remove the app's backup from those services manually.

If you submitted a feature request and would like your email or entry removed from Firestore, contact us at hyper-ionised1v@icloud.com and we will delete it promptly.

8. Children's Privacy

Ministry Time is not directed at children under the age of 13. The optional Feature Requests section uses anonymous Firebase Authentication; no name, age, or other personal information is required. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Security

Your diary data is stored locally and protected by your device's own security (lock screen, encryption). Data transmitted to Firebase via the Feature Requests feature is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections and stored on Google's infrastructure, which maintains its own security certifications.

11. Changes to This Policy

If we ever make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users through the app. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
