Report a bugCommon questions
Is the app really free?
Yes. Every feature is free, with no ads and no subscription. Settings has an optional tip jar if you'd like to support the work — it unlocks nothing, because there is nothing locked.
Which reading plans are there?
Two. One chapter a day moves through the Bible a chapter at a time. One year paces you to finish the whole Bible in a year. You can switch plans later without losing which chapters you have already marked read.
Can I open chapters in another Bible app?
Yes. In Settings → Bible Reader you can enter a URL template, and tapping a chapter opens it there. The template uses placeholders the app fills in — for example {book} and {chapter}, or {bookNumber}. If you leave it empty, chapters simply are not tappable.
How do study days and reminders work?
In Settings you mark which weekdays are for personal study and which are for family worship. If you turn on the preparation reminder, the app nudges you the evening before a study day when you haven't picked any material for it yet. The daily reading reminder is separate and fires at whatever time you choose.
Why does my streak not count today?
The streak counts days on which you marked a chapter read. Today only joins the streak once you tick something off — until then, an unbroken run from previous days stays intact.
Can I save an article from Safari?
Yes. Use the share sheet in your browser and pick Bible Study Planner. The app saves the link and fetches the page title so you don't have to type it.
Where is my data, and can I move it?
Everything is stored on your device — there is no account and no server. That also means the data does not sync between devices. If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or a computer, the app's data travels with that backup and comes back when you restore.
Will you add Android, iPad, or sync?
Nothing is promised. Write to me about what you need — what people actually ask for is what gets built next.
