Vorbi ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
Information We Collect
Vorbi is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal data:
- Usage progress — which lessons and exercises you have completed. This data is stored locally on your device using the device's storage (not sent to any server).
- App preferences — your selected interface language, theme preference (light/dark/auto), and other in-app settings. Also stored locally on your device.
- Purchase status — whether you have unlocked premium content. Purchases are handled through a third-party purchase-management service, which may process a transaction identifier and product ID to verify and restore purchases.
Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal identifiers.
- We do not require account creation.
- We do not track your location.
- We do not build advertising profiles or sell your data.
- We do not share data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Third-Party Services
The app may use the following third-party services:
- Purchase management — a third-party service processes purchase receipts to verify and restore your purchases. It receives only purchase-related data (such as a transaction identifier and product ID) and no personal information from us.
- Apple StoreKit — all purchases are processed by Apple. Apple's privacy policy applies to payment processing.
Data Storage
All app data (lesson progress, preferences) is stored locally on your device using iOS system storage (UserDefaults / shared_preferences). This data does not leave your device and is not backed up to our servers.
If you use iCloud backup, Apple may back up this local data as part of your device backup. This is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
Children's Privacy
Vorbi does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. The app does not require any personal information to function.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
